Terms of use and purchase

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These terms govern the use of MundiGuía and the purchase of the paid services it offers, which are provided by Yaiza Inversiones, S.L., with tax ID B35970888, and registered address at Calle Arena, 3, 2.º, 35002 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Las Palmas), España. By registering or making a purchase you accept the version published at that time; we recommend that you save or print it. Contact: no-responder@mundiguia.online.

1. The account

Browsing the guide is open and free of charge. To publish or buy you need an account, which is also free. You must be at least 14 years old, provide truthful information and keep your password safe: you are responsible for whatever is done with your account. Town hall accounts are activated once we have verified that the person requesting them speaks on behalf of the town hall.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to no-responder@mundiguia.online. When it is deleted, whatever you have published is removed, except content that by its nature remains – a memorial paid for by a family or a business listing –, which is unlinked from your account.

2. What you publish

You are responsible for what you publish and must have the right to publish it, including photos. You remain its owner, and you grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host it, display it, adapt it to the format of the guide and translate it, on this website and on ciudadesypueblos.es, which belongs to the same owner, for as long as it remains published.

You may not publish content that is illegal, defamatory, insulting, discriminatory or that incites hatred or violence; personal data or photos of other people without their permission; content that infringes copyright, trade mark rights or image rights; misleading advertising, spam or fraudulent links; nor may you impersonate another person, company or town hall. Obituaries and memorials may only be published by the family or by someone with their authorisation.

Reviews must describe a real experience. Fake or paid reviews, or reviews written by a business about itself or about its competitors, may not be published.

3. How to notify us of illegal content

If you see something that you believe to be illegal or contrary to these terms, write to us at no-responder@mundiguia.online with the exact address of the content, why you believe it is illegal, your name and your email address, and a statement that you are reporting it in good faith. This is the single point of contact required by Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on a Single Market for Digital Services (Digital Services Act), including for the authorities; you can write to us in Spanish or in English.

We review every notice diligently. If we remove content or suspend an account, we explain this to its author, giving our reasons, and the author may ask us to review it again by replying to that email. Accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms may be suspended or closed. In addition, each town hall may remove from its town's wall and reviews anything that breaches these rules.

4. The information in the guide

Listings are built from public data and from what town halls, businesses and users contribute. We review them carefully, but they may contain errors or may have changed: check opening hours, dates and prices with the official source before you travel. We are not responsible for decisions taken solely on the basis of that information, nor for the content of third-party websites to which we link.

5. What you can buy

Membership. One year of premium membership for your account. For a business it includes the full listing; for a town hall, the pack for its town. What is included in each case is what the membership page and the packs page describe at the time of purchase.

Memorial. One year of publication of a memorial dedicated to a deceased person. We notify you before it expires so that you can renew it; if it is not renewed, it is removed a few days later.

Other packs. The other packs are requested from the packs page and are contracted with their own quote and invoice, whose specific terms are added to these.

Gift codes. A gift code gives one year of membership, may be used only once and only one per account, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Price and payment

Prices are shown in euros, including VAT, on each product's page before payment: what you pay is what you see. On purchases made from the Canary Islands, VAT does not apply; IGIC applies instead. You can pay by card through the bank's secure payment gateway (Redsys) or through PayPal, or with your PayPal account. We never see or store your card details. If you need an invoice, request it at no-responder@mundiguia.online with your tax details.

7. Activation, duration and renewal

The service is activated as soon as the bank or PayPal confirms the payment, and lasts one year from that moment. It does not renew automatically and we will not charge you anything unless you ask us to: if you want to continue, you pay again from your account or from the link in the reminder. If you renew before it ends, the new year is added to the time you had left.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from the purchase to withdraw without giving any reason. You simply need to write to us at no-responder@mundiguia.online with a clear statement that you are withdrawing; you may use the form below, although it is not compulsory.

We will refund the amount within 14 days at the latest from the day we receive your decision, using the same means of payment you used and at no cost to you. Since, when you buy, you request that the service begin immediately, we may deduct an amount proportionate to the time you have enjoyed it until you inform us that you are withdrawing (Article 108 of the consolidated text of the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users).

Gift codes, which are not paid for, do not give rise to a right of withdrawal.

Withdrawal form

To Yaiza Inversiones, S.L., Calle Arena, 3, 2.º, 35002 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Las Palmas), España, no-responder@mundiguia.online:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: …

Name of consumer: …

Address of consumer: …

Signature of consumer (only if this form is sent on paper): …

9. Liability

We do our best to keep the guide running at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. If a paid service stops working through our fault for a significant period, we will compensate you by extending its duration or by refunding the proportionate part. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer or our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms to adapt them to the law or to changes in the service. The new version is published on this page with its date, and purchases already made are governed by the version in force when they were made. If a change affects you significantly, we will notify you in advance.

11. Complaints, applicable law and courts

If you have a complaint, write to us at no-responder@mundiguia.online and we will reply as soon as possible, and within one month at the latest. If you wish to submit an official complaint form, ask us for one at that same address. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the consumer affairs services of your autonomous community (in Spain) or of your country.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the courts of your place of domicile and you retain the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. In all other cases, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of the domicile of the website owner.
